@00:40hello! is called "wakfu" and the studio is called ankama [link] unfortunatelly is only in french right now, they will also broadcast it again in cartoon network europe, in italian, german and spanish... thanks for your comment ^^
Working for Ankama Animations from 2009 till now as an FX animator. Most of the work for Wakfu season 02: an all french made tv animated series broadcasted by France 3.
I<3 Wakfu. XDDDDDDD It's a shame that France 3 stopped broadcasting.. (I dwell in France) Do you know where I could watch the missed episodes (I've tried looking in the Ankama site but the vids don't work.) ? It would be awesome. France 3 left us on a cliffhanger. :< Wakfu
Hey! uhm I dont know any legal free way to see the episodes, unfortunately! I think in the Ankama website you can buy them or rent the episodes using points or money, I dont know if you can get the points by playing dofus or wakfu, I have no idea... there are also the DVDS on sale, yep, money money money, what a horrible world... cheers!
Wakfu has such a beautiful art and ambiance set to it. And you're part of it, so thank you! Really impressive, makes my hand itch to start doing some particles. How much of it is drawn frame by frame and how much is automatic in this process?
hi, and thank you! Is nice to be part of this team indeed ^^ specifically for FX animation is mostly all frame by frame (which is why I choose to do FX in the first place), very few things are made by computer generated tweens, things like light, the surface of the water and very slow smoke are animated with motion or shape tweens, we also use some distortion filters in After Effects to give the illusion that things are moving slowly, since is a TV show we dont have too much time so we need to find ways to put less time on it and still keep a level of quality, which is always hard. voila! thanks for your comment!
